Question: yoritomo tadame and ruthless advance

Hi,

Is yoritomo tadame perorming the action of rythless advance if i use his ability (of producing 3 gold) to pay for ruthless advance?

I mean can i play ruthless advance with tadame paying for it as my first action played via its naval trait?

yoritomo tadame Reaction: When paying a Gold cost during the Combat Segment: Produce 3 Gold.

ruthless advance: Battle: Pay Gold equal to the target unit's total Gold Cost minus 2: Destroy a target defending unit.
