Silent Movements: home sweet home ?

L5R CCG Rules board, 10 October 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

In reference to this question without an answer (ah eagerness...) and not directly to that other question without an answer.

I control an unopposed unbowed Ninja Personality with no follower at the current battlefield. May I use Silent Movements, targeting this Ninja, to move him into my opponent's home and give a -3F/-1C token to one of my opponent's Personalities there ?

If I can do that, rules about Battles read, in the 'After Resolution' section: "If no battlefields that haven’t resolved a battle remain, then all units still at battlefields return home, are bowed by resolution if they were attacking or allied, and all battlefields cease to exist" (emphasis added). What will happen to my unfortunate ninja since he is not 'a unit still at a battlefield' ? Does he also return to my home (bowed) after resolution of the last battle, or does he remain in my opponent's home until another card effect make him move elsewhere ?

Thanks for your precious help.
