Adeiko ruling rules question

L5R CCG Rules board, 29 September 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hi! My question obviously wasn't clear in my last relevant post, so I'll try to be more specific:

if in the rules glossary (Samurai Edition) it is said: "An action ... stops resolving when the last effect (apart from delayed effects) has been applied" and Shosuro Adeiko says:"After the effects resolve of a battle resolution, action or trait...." isn't the logical interpretation of the rules as applied to the specific card text that her reaction would trigger after the delayed effects (which are still effects of the action in question, as the card text requires) resolve?

And isn't the ruling that says otherwise against the rules?

Thank you for your patience and for your time.

http://rules.l5r.com/Effects#Delayed_effects: "(D)elayed effects are still said to “resolve” when they are first activated, but are actually applied at a future time."

This has been answered several times, and the ruling is unlikely to change.
