Redrawing the Maps

L5R CCG Rules board, 28 August 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Redrawing the Maps: "After the next time this game another player's Region enters play, attach it to one of your provinces, even one with one or more Regions attached. If it is now attached to your province, gain control of it."

What happens if, sometime after Redrawing the Maps has resolved for me, my opponent flips up a Singular Region which I already have in play? Redrawing the Maps doesn't ignore the Singular rules, so I assume my opponent's Region stays where it is. Is this correct?

It attaches to your Province, but you do not control it.
