Naval and moving

L5R CCG Rules board, 10 August 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Two questions:

1) Does the Naval action have to come from the actually naval card or can a naval follower use a peasent veagence?

2) If you have a card that moves then straigthens your personality, can it be used to move your personality at the current battlefield to the current battlefield?

It does not. It has to be performed by it, not printed on it.

There are too many slightly different wordings on different cards to give a general ruling. It will depends on the specific wording of the card. Maybe.
