Life After Death, only unit

Got a few questions about life after death:

First one is if you only have one unit in an army, and he dies during battle, will Life After Death do anything? I ask this because once your unit dies, you do not have an 'army' to bring him into as army is defined as "One or more units on one side at a battlefield." Since bringing into play is not creating it does not count as one of the things that army keyword does not restrict.

Second, if your unit dies during resolution, is that enough to trigger of life after death? Approprate phrases which make me think yes is "After one of your Personalities is destroyed during battle:" is the trigger event. Battle is defined (closest i can find in the book) as "Each battle has a Combat Segment, followed by a Resolution Segment." under the section of Battles. And further in the Resolution Segment section you have the paragraph that starts "After resolution ends,... " and ends with "... They do not bow. The battle then ends."

Reason I ask there are some crab tricks to have a unit survive a loosing side of resolution while the rest die which both conditions above will need to be true for it to work.

Thank you for your time

Life After Death: if you only have one unit in an army, and he dies during battle, will Life After Death do anything?

Yes. It's really hard to make lists exhaustive.

If your unit dies during resolution, is that enough to trigger of life after death?

Yes.
