Akuma xp2 revisited

L5R CCG Rules board, 3 August 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Ah! I knew there must be something obvious I was missing.

Because he can't be targeted by either player during the action phase, I'm guessing that this stands to reason that he won't be attaching followers or items unless you do it in battle or in the dynasty phase with the assistance of a card effect?

Is that right also?

(Imagine how big Akuma's armor would have to be... I'm reminded of Chris Farley in Tommy Boy singing "Fat guy in a little coat")

You assessment about attachments is right.

The image of Akuma no Oni garbling out "Fat Guy in a Little Coat" while trying to fit the Armor of Shadows in front of the Hiruma Citadel, however, is very wrong indeed.

You are a bad, bad human being. ;-P
