Situation, I play the terrain The Khan's Gambit Winter Terrain Battle: Your Personalities have +1F and cannot move home. You cannot use abilities on your cards at this battlefield.
The sentance - you cannot use abilities on your cards at this battlefield means cards in the battle correct. I could use my own Akodo's Grave to blow it up, and cards from my hand. I just can't use actions on my personalities and followers (or spells, items etc), correct?

The Khan's Gambit: "you cannot use abilities on your cards at this battlefield" means cards in the battle correct.
Strictly speaking, no. "In the battle" is a meaningless phrase in Samurai Edition rules. Comprehensive Rules, Battlefield: "A battlefield should not be confused with a 'battle' which is a process in time."
That said, the card only prohibits actions in that location, not at other locations, such as home.
