If after I use a Ring's ability, and it is then returned to my hand, and then play it in the same turn, may I use its ability again?

If after I use a Ring's ability, and it is then returned to my hand, and then play it in the same turn, may I use its ability again?
Rules, Effects, Tracking Rule: "Therefore, all “memory” of the status of individual cards ends when the card enters a deck, a hand, or another area where it’s both face-down and out of play. This includes dishonorable status, ongoing effects, and whether or not an ability has been used."
Hand is out of play and face down.
