Unexpected Betrayal

Battle: Target a dishonorable Personality in an army. Cards in that unit cannot perform actions. During battle resolution, the unit's Force is added to your army's total instead of its controller's.

Mirumoto Sensei

Dragon Clan Sensei • After each time a Weapon attaches to a Dragon Clan Samurai you control with no Weapons, attach a +0F/+0C Wakizashi Weapon Item token to him, ignoring restrictions.

Battle: Once per battle, target and bow two Weapons attached to a Samurai you control: Target a Personality opposing the Samurai. Your Samurai issues him an unrefusable challenge.

Overwhelmed

Battle: Target and destroy an unbowed Personality you control at the current battlefield with the highest Force (including ties) of all Personalities you control there: The enemy leader may target and move home exactly 2 units in his current army. If he does not or cannot, he targets and destroys a Personality in his army with the highest Force (including ties) of all Personalities in that army.

Can a dishonored personality targeted with Unexpected Betrayal still issue a challenge using Mirumoto Sensei and bowing the weapons it has attached? Action came from the Sensei but cost was paid by the two weapons on the personality.

On the same note, can the same personality be targeted with Overwhelmed? Action came from the player but cost was paid by the personality.

Can a dishonored personality targeted with Unexpected Betrayal still issue a challenge using Mirumoto Sensei and bowing the weapons it has attached?

No. Lotus rules, pg. 47: "Actions that cause a Personality controlled by the player who took the action to issue a challenge are performed by that Personality."

(C)an the same personality be targeted with Overwhelmed?

By the player playing Overwhelmed, no. By the enemy leader, yes.
