Lets assume I play any political action (does not matter which one) with a Samurai or Courtier.
My opponent responds by playing Kanshi.
I choose NOT to negate the political actions effects.
My Samurai/Courtier gets dishonored (as per Kanshis Text)
I would lose 5 honor.
Can I react to this honorlos by "seppuku'ing" my Samurai/Courtier to reduce the loss from Kanshi to 1 (and to ensure my Samurai/Courtier dies honorably) ?
Could you also please elaborate, why (or why not?)
Thanks alot,
Shakiko

The rulebook action for seppuku (Lotus rules, pg. 62) allows it to be performed "before you lose Honor as a direct result of an action or effect that targeted this Personality" -- your Personality was not targeted by Kanshi --
"or from an action he performed" -- your Personality did not perform Kanshi.
No.
