Egg of P'an Ku reversal explanation and clarifying errata

L5R CCG Rules board, 8 July 2005

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from the Wayback Machine (its copy), so posts it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Unique

Limited: Target a Personality, including a Unique Personality or one who will not join you. This card enters play in your home. It becomes a copy of that Personality’s printed card plus all permanent changes in effect on it. None of the Personality’s costs need to be paid and no entering-play effects are produced.

This rectifies the first issue by explicitly stating that the Egg enters play. It rectifies the second by making the change into a Personality just one more effect the Egg produces, with no special timing, therefore any Reactions to the Egg entering play must be used before it changes.
