Utaku Stallion + Surge (L5R rules board)

Just got these in with my herald, let the jank begin,

After this card enters play, name a printed boldface trait on any Personality you control. This Personality has that traite while this card is attached.

Reaction: Before an action targets a unit you control, bow this Shugenja: Remove the unit from the game. Return it to the game , with all attached cards and tokens, before the beggining of the next turn.

I'm playing Shadowlands and i put Utaku Stallion on Oni No Fun, i give him the Bloodspeaker trait as thats a boldface trait on another personality i control. Now when i target Oni No Fun and he dissappears and reappears, i am going to assume that the Utaku Stallion trait kicks on _again_ and i can give him another boldface trait.

Here's the question:

When he enters play again does he still retain the previous trait he gained as Utaku Stallion was never unattached at any point to that personality?
