Alright, I've heard it both ways, so I'll appeal to the rules gurus. On the Kyuden Kitsune Stronghold, it says you can't bring Mantis cards into play, but you can bring Yoritomo's Alliance. Now, with Diamond, it says Mantis and Yoritomo's Alliance are interchangeable. So, does this make Kyuden Kitsune only able to play unaligned cards, or what?
And please, only post if you are a rules official, or if you have an actual link or quote of some ruling on it.
Just to clarify, the two ways I've heard it are:
1. A player running this card can only bring in unaligned cards (this is the interpretation I'm inclined to believe)
2. That you only can't play cards that actually have the phrase Mantis Clan printed on them.

It has always been played as the latter. I seriously doubt that in open, anyone's going to care about such a thing. There are far bette decks than the fox box nowadays anyway.

The stronghold is not looking for Mantis clan. It specificly says Mantis personalities not Mantis clan personalities. It is looking for keyword: Mantis. So, an unaligned Mantis creature personality would not join you any more than Yoritomo would. There is no ruling because it is a straight up reading of the card.

But the whole problem is that it was printed before Mantis and Yoritomo's Alliance were considered one and the same. So, like I originally asked, could we please get an official ruling, or at least someone who can give more evidence than just the card itself?
