A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Battle: If you are the Defender: Look at the top four cards of your Dynasty deck. If one of them is a Personality, you may put him into play at the current battlefield, ignoring Gold cost. Put the remaining cards back in any order. Discard him after the battle ends.
Am I right in thinking that under the current rules this requires Presence as it doesn't have Absent? If so, and given that the card functioned differently previously, should it have the Absent keyword added?
Cheers Mark

Sure!
And may I just say, pardon the Oracle not having been fully updated as yet; it's been a busy year. Rest assured, the very best judges will be on-hand at GenCon to judge the official Modern event.
