A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Matsu Hideyuki : Compassion: Equipping Nonhuman Followers to Hideyuki is a Battle/Open for you, for 1 less gold if Hideyuki entered play this battle.
Do this mean that equipping followers to Hideyuki is not repeatable (comparing to the "normal" equip being a repeatlable open) ?
Many thanks.

Hideyuki's text only modifies the "Open" part of the rulebook Equip ability. It replaces "Open" with "Battle/Open", but keeps Repeatable and the rest of the text.
