So i searched and found two of my three questions i wanted to ask.
If i have an item lets say a jade item that will not attach to a shadowlands personality, and i attach it to my no shadowlands personality. Then during the turn i give him shadowlands. does the weapon fall off? is this the same concept as a personality gaining kensai, then equiping a second weapon then losing kensai?

Restrictions on attaching only prevent the attachment, they do not prevent the card from remaining attached if further effects occur. The concept is the same in both cases you list - the Personality will keep the weapon.
