Dynasty, (*): Remove a card in your hand from the game to search your deck and Provinces for a Legacy Holding and Recruit it. If you fail to find one, you lose the game.
I have some questions about "searching": 1) What do I search first provinces or deck?
2) Are cards in provinces peeked (searched?) simultaneously or in some order? If in order what determines it?
3) Also, can I search my fate deck for a legacy holding in that procedure just to shuffle it? Action text does not specify that I have to search dynasty deck
4) Lastly, just to make sure, following CR:
If multiple areas are searched, such as discard pile and deck, the player must declare whether he or she found any searched-for cards in one area before moving to the other, and cannot go back to a previously searched area. Once the desired number of cards are declared to be found, the search procedure stops and the player shuffles any decks that were actually searched.
If I search dynasty deck first, I will have to shuffle it only after I finish searching through my provinces, so I will know what card (topmost of dynasty during my search) will refill province from which I recruit my legacy holding. Am I right? Or, looking at it differently, recruiting takes place only after I finish search, then after shuffling? Anyway the question is: Do I know what card refills province I recruited legacy holding from (assuming that I searched dynasty deck not finding it and, after that, provinces with success)?

1. Since "Search your deck and Provinces" is one effect, you may choose which you search first.
2. They're effectively searched simultaneously, so you can always look at all of the facedown ones if you're searching your Provinces.
3. You may not search your Fate deck. The CR will be updated to reflect this.
4. You shuffle before finishing the Recruit procedure, so you will not know what card will be going into the Forgotten Legacy's province if it's recruited from Province.

Just a followup to one of the answers here:
As the card says "Search your deck and provinces", why must I search one followed by the other? By the cards statement, am I not searching both simultaneously, and if so, then why must I search one, then the other, and not allowed to go back to the first? (eg. deck, provinces, deck).
There's no distinction on them being searched separately, they are both searched simultaneously within the effects surely? (Different to, Eg. Gaining Wisdom)

Multiple areas are searched sequentially.
See Search: If multiple areas are searched, such as discard pile and deck, the player must declare whether he or she found any searched-for cards in one area before moving to the other, and cannot go back to a previously searched area.
