According to this ruling viewtopic.php?f=59&t=112349 you can only bow one honored sensei to pay for otomo terumoto since you can not pay more gold for an action once the costs have been paid and you bow holdings one at at time correct? You bow one honored sensei that products 3 gold meeting his gold cost and are not able to bow another honored sensei just to gain the honor since he have been paid in full already.
Honored sensei: This holding has +1 gold production, but only when it pays for a single non-shadowlands naga or human personality not of your clan alignment, gain 1 honor when he comes into play.
Otomo terumoto: costs 3 gold after terumoto enters play gain 1 honor.

While you're producing 3 gold, you do not need to assign all of that 3 to pay for Teremuto. The rest would then be lost. As such, if you bowed 3x Honored Sensei, you could pay 1 gold from each toward Teremuto's cost, gaining 3 honor, and losing the extra 6 gold.
