If you overlay Kenaro with Kenaro XP what is his gold cost for purposes of Stand Fast?

Since Akinari invested becomes 15 gold cost I wanted to check the overlay.

"On overlaying, the new card keeps all states, ongoing effects, attachments, and tokens of the old card"

The permanent gold cost change from Invest is an Instantaneous effect, not an Ongoing effect. Therefore, Kenaro xp's gold cost will be equal to his base gold cost (unless further modified).
