So i just finished playing lion dueling and we got into seijuro sensei and when you have to bow for his interrupt. Now from what i know and interrupt has to go after the action it is interrupting. So the wording on Seijuro sensei I would think you would have to bow it after declaring the duel, and then after the duel is won then you get the bonuses. As far as I am aware winning a duel is not an action that can be interrupted as was played earlier today. Same with Sahara sensei.
Is winning a Duel an Action?
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

You are correct. You interrupt the action creating the duel prior to resolving the duel, not after determining the winner. Then its delayed effect triggers after you win it.
