Stay Behind Me

L5R CCG Rules board, 16 December 2014 to 5 January 2015

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Stay Behind Me Battle: Target your unbowed Personality. Bow him or, if he is a Yojimbo, bow your unbowed Courtier or Shugenja at any location instead, to make a Melee Attack equal to your target Personality's Chi.

How many targets does this action have? The way i mean is, if i have not shugs or courtiers in play, but 2 peeps in the current battle, do i target one, bow him and make a ranged attack equal to his chi? Or do i target a peep, bow him, and then make a ranged attack equal to another targets chi. The reason i ask is it doesnt say "equal to your targeted personality's chi" referencing the earlier target, it just says Target, as if im targeting a second time.
