Purification of the Heart
quick text: After you equip this spell to an Air shugenja, you may discard a card from your province and refill it face up. Air Open, Rehonor this Shugenja Air Open, Transfer this spell to another shugenja
Does transferring this spell to another shugenja as per its second action count as an equip to trigger its trait? I was unclear, as the CR makes a quick reference to transferral of items, but I am unsure what exactly qualifies as an "equip" action.
Thank you.

The Equip action is used for bringing cards into play, not transferring them. So transferring will not trigger the trait.
