I challenge my opponent's personality to a duel using Stand or Run. I Interrupt my own action with a Ring of Earth. Is his refusal contingent on his movement? It is currently worded differently from other effects that are such as Doji Hoturi Inexperienced and Way of the Crane, if that is the intent.
Stand or Run Iaijutsu Battle: Your target unbowed Personality challenges a target enemy Personality. If he is unbowed, he may refuse. If he does, move him home and bow him as he moves. Destroy the duel's loser.
Doji Hoturi Inexperienced Battle:...his controller may dishonor him and move him home to refuse the duel...
Way of the Crane Battle:...whose controller can dishonor him and move him home to refuse.
Ring of Earth ... Earth Repeatable Interrupt, The Battle action cannot move Personalities.

No, the refusal of Stand or Run's duel is only contingent upon the Personality being unbowed. Stopping the movement (which itself is contingent upon the refusal, but not the other way around) won't stop the refusal if negated.
