So I need to ask this question because this came up in a game last night. The No second battle rule states that if your card has been in a battle resolution in the current attack phase he will not move to a battlefield again. The rules vs cards say when a card goes against the rules follow the instructions on the cards not the rules. So with that being said if I have a unit that has been in battle resolution and we start a battle at another province can I use ring of water or any of the other cards that state I may move into the current battlefield.
cards vs rules with No second battle rule
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

A card has to specifically state that it overcomes the No Second Battle Rule to work in that sense. An (not Ivory legal) example would be Moto Chagatai exp4.
