In the case of Yashiro bowing to make a RA that would target a Shadowlands card, if the RA is negated by Turtle's Shell, does he get to straighten?
If he's interrupting another RA with his RA 4, does this change if he bows or not (If Turtle's Shell isn't used?
MOD EDIT: Added full card titles to the subject. - Ryushi

The Turtle's Shell only negates the Ranged or Melee Attacks an action produces, not the additional effects that may be associated with the action as a whole. Targeting is also not an effect, and because of this it is never negated; it always happens.
As such, Tsuruchi Yashiro - Experienced will straighten when you use his ability.
