I wanted to check the specific rules for Discipline, but I can't find any mention of it in the comprehensive rules.

Is it the discipline trait that removes the strategy card from the game, does it modify the action procedure (replacing the discard step with removal), or does it modify the ability's effect? If the ability's effects are negated is the card still removed from the game? I'm guessing that it is.
