After reading the ruling in this thread: Cavalry Escort and Ogre Bushi/Hida Zaiberu
Doesn't the above ruling contradict with this thread's ruling: Re: Cavarly Escort?

Since it was ruled that "Equiping is not the same as Attaching", would this mean Ogre Bushi and/or Hida Zaiberu get keep the Cavalry Escort follower on either of these two personalities when using this follower's ability?

No, Ogre Bushi nor Hida Zaiberu would not be able to keep a Cavalry Escort that brought them into play.
I'm sorry, but I see no contradiction in the two rulings.
