Say a Cavalry Personality attacks province 1alone and I assign a defender. My opponent decides to resolve province 2 first, then cavalry engages that personality to province 2. When we return to province 1, can I put Ring of Earth into play if no province was destroyed as there was technically an enemy unit at the battlefield before he engaged out?
