Below are some tips and guidelines for posting rules questions in this forum. These are, of course, in addition to the general rules for posting on the AEG boards (found here).
• Before posting, please try to use the forum’s search function (it's case-sensitive, so capitalize card titles).
You may also wish to check The CCG Rules Wiki for Format Rules. • When posting, please use complete card titles (with Experience levels).
Abbreviations confuse people not familiar with them, and they also make the forum harder to search for answers. • Only Rules Team members can reply to topics in the Rules forum.
This ensures all answers here are official. If your question concerns a previous question (for correction, clarification, etc), please link to that question in your new post.
ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT EDIT AN ALREADY-ANSWERED QUESTION! We have no way of knowing you've done so, and it will likely go unnoticed. Please instead repost and link, as described above. • Questions about multiplayer situations, or elements of the War of Honor game not found in regular L5R like fortresses and victory paths, should be posted in the new War of Honor Rules Questions forum.
Questions about individual cards in War of Honor that don't reference any of the above things (like Ring of Flame) can still be asked in here. • Please don't ask questions about AEG’s official Floor and Event Rules here.
Those rules are found here, and questions about them are answered in in this thread. • Please don't ask questions about whether promo cards are legal for tournament play.
Promo card legality can be checked in the Oracle. • Please don’t repost unanswered questions.
