Hi Rules Team,
I found this ruling but my question is different enough that I believe it warrants a new question. So, the question:
Long-Range Scouts reads...
Home Battle/Open: Transfer this card to your target Personality. (Home actions may be used from home.)
Let's assume that I have two personalities - Shinjo Bob and Shinjo Jane - and I send them to attack two different provinces. The Long-Range scouts are currently attached to Shinjo Jane. I declare that I'm starting at Shinjo Bob's battle first. Am I able to use the ability on Long-Range Scouts to transfer them over to Shinjo Bob? Per the above-linked ruling, I"m thinking the answer is "no" because Long-Range Scouts is not at the current battlefield, even though using it's ability would move it over.
Alternatively, let's say that I started at Shinjo Jane's battle first and after resolution she goes home. Would I then be able to use the ability on Long-Range Scouts during Shinjo Bob's battle? I'm thinking the answer is "Yes" because the ability is listed as "Home Battle/Open", so in this situation they're in a valid location (whereas the above question is an invalid location - "Home" doesn't mean another battlefield).
Is this correct?
Edit: Forgot to link the ruling I mentioned.

Correct, you can't do it because of the Rule of Location. The Home keyword doesn't work if you are at a different battlefield

Well, if she went home after resolution it's likely that the follower bowed due to battle resolution, in which case you wouldn't be able to use the follower either.
If somehow you managed to keep it unbowed (eg Conqueror keyword), then the action would be legal to take, allowing you to transfer the follower from Home to a unit at the current battlefield.
