Let's say that Ichiro Otani performs his battle action targeting an enemy personality with a Celestial Sword attached (for the sake of this example, let's say that it's the Celestial Sword of the Mantis). My understanding is that Otani ignores Force bonuses from weapons, but not Force modifiers from weapons. Therefore, the +1F on the top left of the card would apply, but if the sword's Battle action had been used to increase the personality's Force, that bonus would not.
However, all of the Celestial Swords have the trait "This card has +1F for each X Clan Personality you control." So, that trait is providing a Force bonus to the item's Force modifier. Does Otani ignore that, as it's a Force bonus from a weapon? Or does he not, as it's part of the weapon's Force modifier rather than being added to the personality directly?

Did this ever get resolved? Will Ichiro Otani be receiving some sort of technical errata that "items don't count", as was clearly the intent?

Even if we don't get a ruling, could I at least get some sort of acknowledgement that these are even being read, as well as some sort of explanation on why there has been such a hold up?
