Naval Engage: If you are the Attacker, you have the first opportunity to take a Battle action, which must come from a card in a Naval Personality’s unit. Passing that action does not count toward ending the action round.
As I was reading the rulebook, I noticed that the new Naval action does not require you to have a Naval personality at the battlefield, nor does it require the card performing the Battle action to be at the battlefield.
So, let's say that I send a couple of non-Naval personalities to a battlefield, and my opponent defends. If I have a Naval shugenja with Trembling Earth attached at home, my reading of the rules is that I can use the Naval Engage to have the shugenja use Trembling Earth to bow an enemy card at that battlefield. The Rule of Presence is satisfied, because I do have personalities at the battlefield. The Rule of Location is satisfied, because the action on Trembling Earth is a Home Battle action- and thus does not need to be at the battlefield- and the action's target is at the current battlefield. And the restrictions on the Naval Engage action are satisfied, because I am the attacker, and the action being performed is on a card in a Naval personality's unit.
Is my understanding of the rules here correct?
