Can I use abilities in provinces?
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
So per the ruling in viewtopic.php?f=59&t=106396 on Jade Pearl Inn, can I use any ability in province or just interrupts?
This will become clearer once we get the Ivory Edition CR up for everyone, but you can only announce and use Interrupts on a card out of play if the Interrupt references the card entering play.
Jade Pearl Inn and the Ivory MRP of Togashi Korimi are prime examples of this kind of Interrupt usage.
