Quick question and I couldn't find anything on this specific case so I apologize!
Does Unexpected Discovery require that the battlefield I move my unit to be unresolved? I only ask because A Moving Battle specifically states that a battlefield must be unresolved whereas Unexpected Discovery does not make such a claim.
Defensive Grill is another example of a card that specifies unresolved.
Unexpected Discovery: Battle: Move your target opposed Personality (at the current battlefield) to an adjacent battlefield. A Moving Battle: Before this battle resolves, you may move one of your opposed attacking Personalities at this battlefield to an adjacent, unresolved battlefield.
My assumption is that if you move a unit to a resolved battlefield, the unit would just go home if attacking and remain at the battlefield if defending via the resolution of battle rules, but I wanted to check and be sure!
Cheers!

You are correct, Unexpected Discovery does not require the battlefield be unresolved.
You are mistaken however, that an attacking unit moving to a resolved battlefield would automatically move home. He will move to and remain at the resolved battlefield until it ceases to exist, when then the unit will return home, bowed.
