In Ivory Edition, when recruiting a personality from a minor clan (Oriole, Bat) will I pay printed cost or printed +2. I ask, as the rules list the "Unaligned" discount for personalities without a clan alignment. Thanks!
Minor Clans and Gold Cost
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I assume you are asking for Ivory Edition.
As such, the Minor Clan keywords are not Clan alignments under the IvE Ruleset. You will pay only their printed Gold Cost as they are considered unaligned.
For reference, the 9 Clan alignments for Ivory Edition are: Crab Clan Crane Clan Dragon Clan Lion Clan Mantis Clan Phoenix Clan Scorpion Clan Spider Clan' Unicorn Clan
