If my opponent names Ring of Void with the SH and I attempt to use the first limited on RoV to put into play what happens? I think under EE rules it would end up in the discard pile, but I'm not sure under IvE rules.

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
It goes to the discard pile, as the negation effect prevents its entering-play, so it goes from entering-play area back to resolution area, and from there to discard as part of the clean-up. The rules aren't changing in that specific part.
