LEGACY - Norio the Kharmic Monk
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Does Norio count as a Kharmic card for purposes of cycling given he possesses the keyword?
Or is that an unintended coincidence that needs changing?
It's an unintended consequence of the fact that titles conveyed keywords during the pre-SE era, but it's not to be changed. The Rule change has made older "Kharmic" cards now have added function. Enjoy cycling your monk, and a few other older cards as well (Kharmic Vengeance Spell, Kharmic Confrontation Strategy, et al.).
