Discovering a Conspiracy, Loyal, and taking control.

L5R CCG Rules board, 23 June 2013 to 25 June 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Per this, am I correct in assuming that, since the Loyal person hit by Discovering a Conspiracy no longer has a clan alignment, he can be taken control of by another player? (With Shadow Dragon XP2 for example)

No. You may not take control of a Loyal Personality you do not share a Clan alignment with.

However, your Loyal Personality who loses your Clan alignment is not immediately destroyed - although if he is destroyed, you will not be able to return him to play.
