AMENDED: Multiple Scouting the Pass in Multi-player

L5R CCG Rules board, 22 June 2013 to 2 July 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Amending this to cover my mistake of misinterpreted posts. Gomen. ^_^

In a multiplayer game. If an Attacking player and his ally both use Scouting the Pass, do they BOTH get a "First" Battle Action before the Defender(s)' first chance to act or Pass? Or can Scouting the pass be used ONLY by the Primary Attacker?

Rule Specific Link The rule for Ally

While many players can be "attacking" in multiplayer, there is only one Attacker and one Defender. Since only the Attacker may play Scouting the Pass, the situation in the question will not come up.
