Battle/Limited: Any number of times per turn, target your Personality: Attach a Follower from under this card to him, paying all costs.
Yoritomo Kanahashi Force/Chi 4 2 HR/GC/PH - 8 1 Keywords Mantis Clan • Samurai • Magistrate • Naval Text Other players' Personalities and attachments (in play) have -2 Gold Cost. 1. Are the followers that are on the boat considered in play so the gold cost would be reduced by 2?
2. when they are destroyed while in play do they suffer from the -2 gold cost so then putting them under would be affected by the trait or do they hit the discard pile get excluded as being counted from in play so followers with a base cost of 2 for example would still be put under?

"Under another card" is an out-of-play area. Kanahashi won't give you cheap followers this way.

The Tachikaze's trait is activated "after an action resolves", so normally the Followers will have hit the discard pile during the action's resolution, and then go to under Tachikaze. This means that Kanahashi will not be reducing their Gold cost when Tachikaze checks it.
