Thunder Dragon XP2

L5R CCG Rules board, 15 April 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I'm having a hard time finding the usefulness of the trait:

After the Thunder Dragon performs an action: Other players may not take Reactions until it ends.

Since most reactions are taken during targeting/announcement..can you guys cite some EE-legal reactions this would affect. Is feign death one of them?

Thanks.

The Thunder Dragon is considered to be "performing" an action once it's chosen as a performer. Therefore anything that reacts to targeting (Ryoshun's Guidance), or resolution (Improper Papers) would be affected. The few Reactions that are not are those taken in response to an action's announcement, or after the action ends.
