Growing Hostility + Imperial Charter

L5R CCG Rules board, 4 March 2013 to 5 March 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Imperial Charter Limited: If it is not your first turn: Starting with you, each player may create an unbowed Holding with the trait "Bow this card: Produce 2 Gold."

Growing Hostility Unique Destroy all non-Unique Holdings with a base Gold Cost of 0. Until the game ends, Holdings in and out of play have a minimum Gold Cost of 1.

Growing Hostility Resolves. I play Imperial Charter. Does the same rule apply like that of Basic Lesson wherein we (me and my opponent) have to pay for the holding. Also if so, who pays.

Growing hostility Destroy all non unique holdings with a Base Gold of zero. Until the game ends, holdings In and Out of play have a minimum gold cost of 1.

Imperial Charter LImited: If it is not your first turn: Starting with you, each player May create an unbowed holding with a trait, Bow this card produce 2 gold.

Yes: If Growing Hostility has resolved, each holding created by Imperial Charter costs 1g, and this cost must be paid to bring it into play.
