Chi tokens and Feing Death

L5R CCG Rules board, 1 March 2013 to 2 March 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Would a personality that died with a minus chi token be able to be savesd by Feing Death? I figure since the token that was giving the penalty to the personality is not on anymore the personality would come back with whatever chi he had when te token fell of. I'm I wrong in this deduction? Thank you for the help.

From the Token rules:

If a card or province leaves play, all tokens on it are removed from the game. They do not come back if the card re-enters play.

When Feign Death brings the Personality into play, it hasn't got the Chi penalty Tokens any more, so she should have a chi of 1 or more and therefore stay in play.
