The card Kamoko's Avatar has -/8/5 printed on it. Does that mean that i need to pay 8g to play it as an action? or is it just for the purposes of showing a personality gold cost and i don't need to pay the gold to play it?

The created personality has a base gold cost of 0 because the action's text doesn't give the personality a Gold Cost stat.
