Hi there,
I was looking up rulings on Moon and Sun and if the shuffled back event's ongoing effects would end. I found one question regarding Glory of the Shogun resolving a 2nd time due to Moon and Sun, and the answer was you would draw 2 cards if buying an attachment of 5 or more gold. While this answers my own question, I do wonder why this is the case. Doesn't card memory end when it goes into a deck? I found no exception in the rules that would exempt events.
A clarification would be most helpful! Thanks in advance.

An ongoing effect isn't the same as card memory. The Event card itself forgets all memory of effects on it, number of uses of abilities (if any) etc. But the effects of the resolution of the Event are independent of this. The game still remembers that the event resolved, and keeps the effects.
Think of it as playing a strategy with an ongoing effect, for example Perfect Sacrifice, then fetching the card from the discard pile with Jurojin's Blessing. Perfect Sacrifice forgets it was used (and can be used again that turn) because it loses memory of its game state, but the effects of the first use of Perfect Sacrifice still linger until the end of the turn - or until the Samurai's unit is shuffled in the deck and loses card memory.
