I have a ninja with Goju Laxt attached to him. My opponent plays Ring of Fire on the ninja.
Does Goju Kaxt's trait kick in with the destruction of the the personality it is attached to or does Goju Kaxt needs to be destroyed by a specific effect such as Melee or Ranged Attack?
Gou Kaxt doesn't care about what did destroy it, only that the destruction happened "during an action". In the case you described Goju Kaxt is being destroyed by the rulebook during the resolution of Ring of Fire's action, so Goju Kaxt's trait will be triggered.
