Unsafe Passage

L5R CCG Rules board, 31 January 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Unsafe Passage Reaction: After an action targets your Commander: Negate his movement from its effects. Battle: Target your Follower: You may take an additional action to use one of its base abilities, even if it is bowed or has already used the ability its maximum number of times this turn.

Is it possible for me to use a follower's ability even though it is bowed and already used its ability maximum number of times this turn?

Yes, you may.

The "or" is inclusive, not exclusive, in context; both conditions apply to the "even if" at once, or separately if only one is the case.
