Her reaction says, "Reaction: After another player's Battle action resolves which destroyed one of your Lion Clan Personalities at the current battlefield: During the next End Phase, if the destroyed Personality is dead, bring him into play, ignoring costs and Honor Requirements." The timing constraint, "After another player's Battle action resolves" makes me believe that no, she cannot, since she'd be dead after the resolution of the action. Is that correct?

Akodo Kobi exp cannot, indeed, react to her own destruction, since, as you point out, she is out of play by the time her trigger occurs.
