Halls of the Forgotten and Megumi's Guidance

L5R CCG Rules board, 2 December 2012

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

A player, 2 December 2012

If I delay a kill action (like relentless conviction) with Halls of the Forgotten and then subsequently use Megumi's Guidance to negate my zerker's destruction until the turn ends, would the kill be negated when it resolved after the end of the battle?

Megumi's Guidance While your army is opposed, it has +2 total Force, or +3 if you are the Defender. Battle/Open: Discard this card and choose your performing Personality: Negate his destruction from other players' cards' effects (until the turn ends).

Halls of the Forgotten

Reaction: After another player's Battle action targets your Berserker: Delay its effects on him until after this battle ends.
